This years’ dates are August 6-9.
We are very pleased to be heading into our fourth year and look forward to seeing our friends gathered for a few days of mando bliss. Returning this year are core instructors Mike Marshall, Caterina Lichtenberg, and Don Stiernberg. This year we are excited to include the prolific David Benedict and Brazilian choro mandolin master, Elisa Meyer Ferreira, with her family band, Choro Das 3. Not only will the teaching and music be spectacular but the food may even reach a new level!
Payment
Attendance to the Mando Summit is $1299. This will provide you access to all features of the event including some special gifts. You will receive a confirmation receipt after you submit the registration and pay through the shopping cart on our website. If you would prefer to pay by check please email us directly to reserve your spot and make checks payable to Northfield Musical Products and send to 130 W Michigan Ave. Marshall, MI 49068.
Schedule
The Northfield Workshop in downtown Marshall will open at noon on Thursday, August 6th. It is located at 130 West Michigan Avenue. Please join us between noon and 4pm to pickup your goodie bag, check out the showroom, and get a lay of the land. Around 4pm the events will startMore details to follow. Please reference the 2019 schedule, viewable here or by the Mando Summit app to get an idea of how the days’ activities will be laid out. The Summit comes to a conclusion, mid-afternoon, on Sunday August 9th. Many people decide to arrive on Wednesday and/or leave on Monday so they do not have to rush in or out.
For those bringing a non-participating partner
If you will be joined by someone who does not intend on going to the workshops, the cost is an additional $300. They will have access to the music appreciation sessions, performances, and meals. Non-participating partners are not allowed access to the workshops. Marshall has many interesting sites and shops within walking distance of the Franke Center for the Arts, where the workshops are held. For more information check out choosemarshall.com.

Accommodations
Mando Summit attendees are responsible for their own lodging. We have reserved a limited number of rooms at several locations and they will be released on a first-come, first-served basis. Please see our Accommodations page for details.
